Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome Back to Term 2
Welcome back to Term 2! I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing break and had the opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends.
We are now heading into an 11-week term, and it has been wonderful to see how positively students have returned. They have settled quickly into routines and are already demonstrating a strong start to their learning.
This term, we will continue our focus on maintaining high standards across all areas of the school. This includes high expectations for learning, behaviour, and engagement, ensuring every student is supported to achieve their best.
Learning Plan outlines will be sent home on Tuesday. These plans provide a clear overview of what your child will be learning throughout the term. We encourage you to take the time to review these with your child, as they are a valuable way to stay connected to their learning and support them at home.
We look forward to another productive and successful term ahead.
School Culture Survey
We value the input of our school community and invite you to take some time to complete our School Culture Survey.
This survey is an important opportunity to share your feedback on how we are going as a school. We welcome your thoughts on what is working well, as well as any challenges and areas for improvement.
Your responses will help us better understand the effectiveness of our school culture and the extent to which this is reflected across the school. This feedback is vital in guiding our ongoing school improvement efforts and ensuring we continue to provide the best possible environment for our students.
The survey includes both rating scale questions and opportunities to provide written comments, allowing you to share detailed feedback if you wish.
Please note that the survey is completely confidential. You are not required to provide your name, and individual responses cannot be identified.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Fear Less Seminar Reminder
We’d love to remind our families that the Fear Less Seminar will be held on Wednesday 6 May in the School Library from 6:00–8:00pm.
This is a wonderful free opportunity to come together and learn how to support our children in managing anxious feelings. We warmly encourage all parents to attend, particularly those with children in Years 5 and 6, as the transition to high school can be an exciting yet sometimes challenging time.
Join us for an engaging and practical session where you’ll gain helpful strategies and ideas to support your child and feel more confident navigating this important stage.
We hope to see you there!

Save the Date
Friday 29 May is a School Development Day for staff – there is no school for students.
Enjoy your long weekend and we will see you on Tuesday.
Kind regards
Kim Knowles
Principal
