Fantastic Stage Entertainment at the Fair!  Click here to view performance line up.

A wealth of talented performers will bring you four hours of fantastic free stage entertainment at The Centenary Fair on Saturday November 8 from 3-7pm.

These professional performers are donating their time to perform at our Fair:

Agelink Theatre, Hollywood Heroes, The Cover Girls, Reilly Craig, Explosive Dance, Arco violin duo and Kinetica. The performances include dance, vocalists, a superhero show, acrobatics, fantastic classical music, and a play especially written for our centenary and featuring our students. We can’t thank you enough!

Our EVPPS Instrumental and Vocal Ensembles will also have a starring role, along with The Como SHS Band, Victoria Park Brass and a display by Advanced Martial Arts and Fitness.

More entertainment news in the next newsletter.

Sports Star Autographs

A high profile sports star will be signing autographs and posing for photos with kids at the Fair, thanks to our latest major sponsor, Baston and Co. Property in Victoria Park.  We can’t divulge the identity of the football player just yet, but get your footballs and cameras ready

A few of our favourite things….

Have you seen our wonderful display of memorabilia at the Victoria Park Library?  It’ll be there until the end of the month and features a few of our favourite things from the school’s one hundred years.

Another memorabilia display will be popping up at the Park Centre Shopping Centre from June 16.

But we’re always looking for more!  Photos, school books, reports, uniforms – anything you have from your school days.  Both donations and loans of items are appreciated.

You can leave your memorabilia at the school office or sent to

The First Centenary Project Completed!

The Centenary Cookbook “FEast Victoria Park” is now available for purchase from the school office for $26.95. The book contains 200 recipes contributed by our school community.   “FEast Victoria Park” features recipes from all over the world, proudly reflecting our school motto “Celebrating Diversity”. Thank you to all families, staff, and alumni who provided their favourite family recipes.

We are thrilled with the positive reception the cookbook has been getting, with many people purchasing additional copies now that they have seen the book.  The books will make lovely gifts for friends and family, and they will be on sale at Centenary events throughout the year, while stocks last of course!

Classes get in on the action
Each class is responsible for running a stall at the Fair. Thanks to staff, Class Parent Representatives, students and parents for your enthusiasm and ideas. There may be some changes, but here’s a quick run-down of what everyone is doing at the moment:

ECE 2 A & B Face Painting; ECE 1 Popcorn and Fairy Floss; Room 1 & 2 Food Service; Room 3 Canteen; Room 4 Loom Bands Stall; Room 6 Cake Stall; Room 7 Plant Stall and Kids’ Artwork; Room 8 and ECE 4 Free Kids’ Activities and Pinata; Room 9 Book Stall and Kids’ Artwork; Room 11 Christmas Gifts and help with the pop-up photo booth; Room 12 Fair HQ enquiries and selling ride tokens, raffle tickets and cookbooks; and ESC a fishing game stall.

As the Fair draws closer, we will be asking for volunteers for our set-up and pack-up crews and rubbish crews.  We will need everyone’s help to make this event possible. You can volunteer any time from now by contacting Sam on 0411152662, with “Fair” in the subject line or leaving a message in the school office.
