Good afternoon EVPPS families

ANZAC Assembly

Thank you so much to Miss Yee and the very talented Room 10 for running such a moving and educative ANZAC Assembly this morning. I’d particularly like to thank Lieutenant Commander Jye Flood, of the Royal Australian Navy, for addressing the students about the significance of the ANZACs to Australian history. It was lovely to see our students listening so respectfully to the Year 6s as they told us some of the history of the ANZACs as well as their ‘Flanders Fields’ poetry. Thank you to the Pre-Primary students for making and laying wreaths at the assembly this morning.

Interschool Swimming Carnival 2023

EVP students never fail to make me proud! A fantastic day was had by all at the Interschool Swimming Carnival this week. I was blown away by the strength, determination and courage shown by all students during their events – they really were amazing!

A special shout out must go to Sloane for winning an individual medal – ‘Year 4 Champion Girl’ Runner Up. Well done, Sloane, you deserved this!

Massive appreciation also goes to four boys that really stepped up and did us proud – Tyler, Oliver, Harley and Toby. All of these boys competed against students in the year level ABOVE them and Harley actually swam with students TWO year levels ABOVE him. Well done boys, you were a massive part of our Swim Team and your swimming ability spoke volumes on the day.

A very proud Mrs Walker
