Principal’s Messages- welcome to week 3

Faction Cross-Country

A big congratulations to everyone who took part in last Friday’s Faction Cross-Country Carnival. It was great to see all students putting in their very best effort and earning valuable points for their Faction. Well done to Curtin (Red Faction) who took out the trophy on the day. We wish our top 5 finishers the best of luck at the Interschool Cross-Country next Thursday. Thank you to Mr Ranford for organising the event and preparing our team.

Lunchtime Clubs

Lunchbreaks just got a bit more exciting! This term, students have the opportunity to take part in a number of clubs and interest groups. These include Lego Club, Chess Club, Djook Yorgas (Sister Girls) Club, Lunchtime Football and very soon – NUMERO Club. These extra-curricular activities give students a chance to have fun, compete, learn new skills and mix with other students at EVPPS. I am very appreciative to all the staff who have chosen to give up their own time to run these activities for the students

School Photos

Just a reminder that school photos will be taking place in week 6 (Mon 24th & Thur 27th August). Parents will receive a new envelope with details on how to order. For more information about School Photos.

Room 11 and 12 Assembly

Congratulations to Mr Jones, Mr Thurston and all of the students from Room 11 & 12 for putting on a very interesting assembly this morning. Room 11 & 12 showed off some ‘unusual’ structures that have been designed and built around the world. The students also had a go at replicating these and building the structures themselves.
