Year 6 Camp
Tired students and staff returned to school last Friday after a hectic week at Point Peron camp.
Students were up for the challenge over the 4 days and took part in many activities including Raft Building, Rock Climbing, Archery and Kayaking, just to name a few. A big thank you to Miss Matthews, Mr McDaid, Mrs Spina, Ms Marcondes and Mr Fir for giving up your time to ensure students had a wonderful experience at camp, and also to all of the students who displayed outstanding leadership qualities while we were away.
Thank you to all students, families and staff members who took part in today’s “Ride2School Day” activity. It was great to see so many people had ridden their bikes, scooters and skateboards to school and not only got some extra exercise for the day but also helped to reduce the number of cars being driven around during drop-off and pick-up time. Thank you to Miss Matthews for organising the event.
Room 7 Assembly
Congratulations to Mr McDaid, Mrs Spina and all of the students from Room 7 for putting on a very entertaining assembly this morning. Room 7 engaged the audience with a “Britain’s Got Talent / Gogglebox” style assembly and showed that if anyone’s got talent, it is certainly them. A very entertaining assembly and one you can be proud of!

Bike2School and Track Thursday’s
To follow on with our “Your Move” initiative EVPPS participated in the Ride2School Day on Friday 13 March. There were many students and families who joined in by either riding, scooting or skating to school. Some students even competed in the spookiest bike competition which was won by Jing Chian Ong from Room 1!!
After arriving to school our Ride2school participants then met under the big tree for a refreshing healthy snack before heading to class. Commencing in week 8, student will be able to take part in track Thursdays which aims to improve students’ bike riding skills, ability and safety. Any student wishing to participate in track Thursdays must complete the permission form by Friday 20 march (bikes only).
